Week 15 of 2017 - A Photograph a Day - Project 365

The fifteenth week of 2017, the 365 photograph a day project. This week started with a quick explore of an abandoned building, the rest of the week was mostly bound with flowers of spring--so fleeting that it's hard to ignore their brightness.

Week 14 of 2017 - A Photograph a Day - Project 365

The fourteenth week of 2017, the 365 photograph a day project. This week spring well and truly sunk her teeth into the earth and showed her might.

Week 13 of 2017 - A Photograph a Day - Project 365

The thirteenth week of 2017, the 365 photograph a day project. Started the week off with a day trip to Hoopers Islands in Dorchester County in Maryland, among the sites visited was an abandoned cemetery being reclaimed by the Chesapeake Bay. The rest of the week was split between work & home. This week saw the close of the first quarter of 2017 and the first day of the second quarter.

The Tenth Week of 2017 Project 365, A Photograph a Day

Closing out the tenth week of 2017's 365 project. The conclusion of a road trip, setting up for Artomatic installation at the end of the month, a busy week at work. Somehow I feel like I'm falling behind. I need an extra day at the end of the week to get caught up.

Day 64 03-03-2017

Road tripping home, side stops at covered bridges and other intriguing sites. Walter's Mill Covered Bridge, 1859,

The bridge originally crossed Coxes Creek, four miles south of the town of Somerset.  Major repairs were made in 1909, at which time wooden Burr arches were added to the bridge's original multiple kingpost truss system to accommodate heavier vehicles.  Threatened with destruction, the bridge was moved to the Somerset Historical Center in the early 1960s.

Week 7, 2017 Project 365, A Photograph a Day

The seventh week of 2017, a photograph a day, every day. Some days I know exactly what I wish to photograph, to show, to say...other days an image, a thought is revealed as I go about my day.

Like life, the work of creating is sometimes clear and sometimes a struggle. Following is the past week's work.

2017 Project 365, A Photograph a Day, Week 6

The sixth week of 2017, in first full February week, encompassed an ordinary week. Some photos came from me living my life, some from photo walks, others were set up. Each day presented a new challenge, a new opportunity to see.

The week started off warm enough to spend several hours porch sitting. Feet up with a good book, dreaming of spring and summer.
